Seiyuu’s Little Forest — Which Seiyuu is Which

I really want to do this one! But it will involve a lot of seiyuu at once (I already make around 25 seiyuu, around 100 more facts) and it doesnt seems fun if not many people play it together.

So I’m doing a test run, is the picture make it too easy to guess?

Please reblog with the seiyuu name ;D

A Visit to Japan’s Cat Island: Tashirojima (田代島)

For more photos and videos of Tashirojima’s cats, explore the 田代島 location page.

Off the Oshika Peninsula on the eastern shore of Japan sits Tashirojima (田代島), a small island that is home to about 100 people and hundreds of cats. “Cat Island,” as Tashiorjima is commonly called, was once home to a fishing industry and about 1,000 people, but the population has steadily declined and aged since its peak in the 1950s.

The island’s cats—believed to bring good fortune by locals—are Tashirojima’s biggest draw these days. Feline fanatics that are lucky enough to make the journey can also explore the island’s many cat shrines and cat-shaped stone monuments.

Studio Ghibli just announced its first ever TV series, and even more exciting it’s an adaptation of a book by Astrid Lindgren. “Sanzoku no Musume Ronja”, or “Ronja the Robber’s Daughter”, will be aired in Japan starting on August 31. It is a coproduction with 3DCG studio Polygon Pictures (known for animating some of Ghost in the Shell, among others), to be directed by Goro Miyazaki. More details are forthcoming.
The story is of a little girl named Ronja, the daughter of a colourful robber chieftain who lives in a castle high on a rock in a dark pine forest. She gets to know the creatures of the forest, meets another kid like herself, and questions her father’s life of robbery.
It will be interesting to see the new route Studio Ghibli takes now that it is making TV animes.
